fermata, which aims to revitalize the Femtech market with the vision of "Transforming taboos into triumphs - Until the day your taboos turn into excitement," and REING, a creative studio that re-examines gender with the philosophy of "Every relationship is beautiful - All relationships we weave are beautiful," are collaborating to open "RELATIONSHIP STORE" for two days only, July 11th and July 12th (Saturday/Sunday).
RELATIONSHIP STORE will feature a wide range of products that will provide an opportunity to joyfully confront one's own body and sexuality, which has traditionally been considered a "taboo." Women's health issues, which were previously considered "unavoidable and unchangeable" due to limited options and a lack of positive imagery, will be addressed. Visitors will be able to discover and experience products that are still difficult to find in Japanese stores, such as menstrual cups and intimate care products that make them more comfortable, pleasure items that fit the body, and underwear that can be worn regardless of gender. In addition, based on feedback such as "I want to know my body better, accept it, and celebrate it more" and "I want to choose things that feel comfortable for my mind and body," the store is not just for "buying products," but also offers various knowledge and information to help visitors think about their bodies and find what truly suits them.
On Saturday, July 11th, a talk event will be held by members of REING and fermata on the theme of "Sexual Wellness that is comfortable for both mind and body." Members of fermata and REING will discuss the taboos surrounding sexuality that affect us and issues such as the "pleasure gap" in sex during a one-hour live talk.
