On April 11, 2023, fermata welcomed visitors from the JICA (Japan International Cooperation Agency) thematic training program "Promoting Women's Business and Entrepreneurship in Africa."

In this program, 15 female entrepreneurs and government officials from Africa learned about exchanges with female entrepreneurs in Kanagawa and Tokyo, and administrative initiatives supporting female entrepreneurs, which they will apply in Africa.

Participants from various countries, including Côte d'Ivoire, Mali, Niger, Senegal, and Tunisia, viewed the femtech products handled by fermata, and fermata CEO Amina Sugimoto spoke about "How business can contribute to solving social issues in Africa."
