私たちは、月経カップを限られた人だけが手にできる贅沢品にしたくありません。ですから、できるだけ価格を抑え、世界中の多くの女性に届けることを目指しています。月経カップはいつも自由で自立した日を過ごすための素晴らしいプロダクトだと考えています。

2009年、ドイツで月経カップはまだあまり知られていませんでした。購入できるものといえば、決まったサイズの無色透明のカップに限られており、オンライン上で高額で販売されていました。
そこで、サイズ（とりわけ小さいサイズ）や色、持ち手の形の選べるリーズナブルな価格の月経カップが必要だと考えました。

これを実現するためにフランク・クリューガーが採用され、メルーナはドイツで自社生産による新しい月経カップの始まりとなりました。

環境意識の高まりとともに、ナプキンやタンポンに代わるものを求める声が増えています。
そんな中、多くの国のドラッグストアや薬局では、すでにこの「ニッチな製品」をラインナップに加えています。2016年、メルーナカップはドイツのドラッグストアチェーンの棚に並んだ最初の月経カップでした。

私たちは、より環境に優しい未来のために、持続可能な生理用品を提供します。また、メルーナは電力のほとんどを自家発電しており、できるだけ省資源、省エネルギーの生産を心がけています。

We believe that such a great product as our menstrual cup should not just be used by a few women with high incomes. That is why we have made it our goal from the very beginning to keep our prices a slow as possible. Menstrual cups mean freedom and independence on critical days – and we want many women around the world to be able to afford them too!

The focus was on the desire for a menstrual cup which should be available in several, especially smaller sizes, in many colours, with different handles and should be reasonable prices. Frank Krüger was recruited to oversee the technical management and development who made the realization possible with its know-how.
This was the start of a new menstrual cup with in-house production in Germany.

With increasing environmental awareness, the desire for an alternative to bandages and tampons is growing continously. In the meantime drugstores and pharmacies in many countries have already included this‘ niche product‘ into their range.
In 2016 Me Luna® was the first menstrual cup to hit the shelves of German drugstore chains.
We offer sustainable monthly protection for a greener future.
We generate most of our electricity ourselves.
Our production is resource-saving, energy-saving and therefore as environmentally friendly as possible.

The Me Luna® menstrual cup is a eco-friendly and recyclable receptable placed in the vagina to collect blood and celular debris that is extruded from the uterus via the cervix during menstruation.
Me Luna® menstrual cups are made from high-quality medical grade thermoplastic elastomer (TPE), which fits the body very well.
Our cup is available in different sizes, colours, degrees of softness and various handles.
It has a long service life and can usually be used for several years with proper care and use.

Femtech is a great startup which provides solutions for women’s wellness and health.
