About this initiative
TS TECH, a car seat manufacturer, and Alps Alpine, an in-car HMI manufacturer, are jointly developing products with the aim of "creating an inspiring in-car space."
Highlight 1
Did you know that many car seats are designed based on male body types? The concept of "Watashi la Seat™" is "to transform driving time into 'my time'." This chair supports a perfect driving posture for each individual with customizable cushions, allowing even petite women to sit comfortably. You can experience the product firsthand, so if you don't usually drive or are concerned about your posture while seated, please stop by!

The "Watashi la Seat™" allows you to insert a heat pack into the cushion that covers the sacral area. For those who lead busy lives, this offers a moment of warmth and comfort. Although it's a simple feature, staff who tried it out raved about how "warm and comfortable" it was, so please experience it for yourself!
Highlight 3
Surprisingly, a common menstrual issue in cars was "staining the seat with menstrual blood." When commercializing "Watashi la Seat™," we plan to make the cushion cover from stain-resistant and deodorizing materials, and design the cushion itself to be removable and washable. This way, even if it gets dirty, you can rest assured and prevent seat stains. Since the current item is a display model, it doesn't yet have this feature, but please share your thoughts with us!
