The main feature of Lioness is
its use of biofeedback technology to visualize the body's responses.

It connects with an app, allowing you to quietly reflect later on
how your body reacted, rather than just "how it felt."

In fact, until Lioness emerged,
it seems there was no organization anywhere in the world, including universities and research institutions, that collected orgasm data.

I believe that
using technology to simply make visible "facts" that no one had ever tried to measure
is a very quiet and fundamental innovation.

Not about "curing" or "determining the right answer"

The reason I like Lioness is that
this product doesn't make definitive statements.

It doesn't say "this is correct"
It doesn't impose "this is how it should be"
It doesn't promise improvement or treatment

All it offers are "materials for discovery."

The data is not for evaluation, but
serves as an opportunity to pay attention to one's own condition.

Some people might notice a connection with stress or sleep,
while others might realize, "Maybe I've been pushing myself too hard lately."

And that's fine.
I believe that not having to find an answer is what self-care is about.

Why we want to introduce it at fermata

I've known the founding team of Lioness since around 2019,
and they have been colleagues who have continuously supported and helped fermata since we first held Femtech Fes!.

Both their product and the team's atmosphere
somehow lack any "indecency."

As engineers,
they continuously and sincerely address the challenges before them.
I believe this attitude is what attracts new colleagues and researchers.

In Japan,
there are many things that need to be addressed, such as
restrictions on expression, cultural hurdles, and regulations related to pharmaceutical affairs, advertising, and platforms.

That's why at fermata,
we want to prioritize how we convey things and in what context,
rather than "how to sell."

Lioness is a product that
has the potential to be delivered very carefully
as an entry point to education, self-understanding, and self-care.
That's how I feel about it.

As an "entry point" for such occasions:

• For a quiet self-care moment to organize yourself alone
• Just before having a conversation with your partner
• As an opportunity to pause and think, "How have I been lately?"
