Dr. Aminas' Lens

Why am I doing this series?

For a long time, we have treated changes related to women's bodies and sexuality as somewhat "taboo," avoiding direct discussion of them.

However, new technologies are now emerging from this very space, where we previously chose not to look. New devices and services are gradually making visible the bodily changes that, until now, could only be sensed.

On the other hand, there are still gaps between these advancements and existing systems and cultures that have not yet been fully bridged.

From a public health perspective, I want to continue asking, "What is truly necessary for society?" rather than "What is trending?"

And I want to carefully observe how the new choices emerging around the world have the power to transform our lives, our future, and the way the next generation of women live.
Body and Sex Technology Healthcare, systems, and culture Market New option

Beyond the trend.

Dr. Amina's Lens is a series that explores new options emerging worldwide and the underlying structures behind them, spanning medicine, policy, markets, and culture.
