Amidst the worsening spread of the novel coronavirus, we launched the "fermata Absorbent Underwear Donation and Support Fund" as part of a support project for medical professionals working devotedly on the front lines. Through this initiative, we donated a total of 2,300 pairs of absorbent underwear to 35 medical institutions nationwide.
This project began with the desire to support medical professionals working devotedly through femtech, as the spread of the novel coronavirus became increasingly serious. With the support and cooperation of absorbent underwear brands both in Japan and abroad, companies interested in femtech, and individuals who sympathized with our cause, we collected a significantly larger amount of donations than anticipated, allowing us to deliver absorbent underwear to medical facilities across Japan. We received many words of gratitude from the medical institutions that received donations, and we hope that this has alleviated some of the physical and mental stress they face on the front lines.
On the other hand, new options for support to further alleviate the burden and improve the on-site situation have also emerged.
fermata will continue to support medical professionals through various options in the future.
