Femtech Fes! Online Vol. 2 "The Secret to Period Underwear"

In addition to the various menstrual products available today, such as disposable pads, cloth pads, tampons, and menstrual cups, "period panties" are once again gaining attention. However, if you've never used them, you might feel a bit uneasy or have many questions. For this very reason, the fermata team delved into the secrets of period panties online!

First, we explored the structure of period panties, explaining what kind of fabric they are made of and what each part does, then traced their history. The original period panties were developed in 1967! Decades and various improvements later, we have the period panties of today.

The main event started here. Even though we know they are sustainable and convenient, many questions were submitted beforehand, such as "Can I really wear them all day?", "How do I wash them?", and "Are they safe to use?". To answer your questions, we tested the absorbency and washing method of period panties during the event using EVE's organic period panties! The absorbency was equivalent to 1.5 tampons (15ml)! Washing was also very easy. Some participants commented, "I was worried about leakage, but now I want to buy them!"

Finally, we introduced various period panties from around the world! In addition to regular panty types, we found various designs such as thongs, lace types, sports types, and boxer brief types. We also unveiled a chart compiled by fermata research, summarizing the features and structure, absorbency, and washing methods of each type. We also discussed the differences in usage rates of various menstrual products around the world and in Japan, and the future options for menstrual products.

In the post-event survey, we received comments such as "I want boxer brief type!", "The comparison with other brands' period panties was easy to understand," and "I want to try EVE's organic cotton."
